Find Kevin Trudeau: he owes me some money

Posted by RJ on April 21, 2008

In January, I was watching one of the infamous commercials by Kevin Trudeau, author of Natural Cures They Don’t Want You to Know About.Photobucket Previously, I had seen the commercial and this time quickly acted because of special pricing on two books.

I was charged $19.95 for the books and it showed on my online banking statement within days. However, I did not receive the books until 2 months later. In the interim, I was charged $9.95 in March, and then again in April for something else that was seemingly related to it.

After reading some customer reviews on Amazon.com about Mr. Trudeau and his book, I learned that the $9.95 was a charge for a subscription to his website. WTF? I NEVER heard the agent on the phone mention a membership or subscription.

I contacted the company’s number as given to me by my bank (which took FOREVER to get through). Somehow they couldn’t find me, my address, or the credit card I used on file. They said they would call me back after they investigated it. It hasn’t happened yet. Fortunately, I stored in my Treo, the original number that I called to place the order. And there is another number, located inside the package, that I have yet to call.

In the meantime, I’m looking for Kevin Trudeau’s personal address and telephone number. If you find him before I do, tell the bastard he owes me $9.95 x 2 + $30 (an overdraft fee)!

(I don’t want the money back for the books because they were interesting for a dissident like me–and plus, I ran out of toilet tissue from my lack of bank funds and I used the pages to wipe my ass!)
